“OUR SOUND” — A Song of Universal Love Born from a Final Goodbye

With sweeping dream-pop textures and deep emotional

resonance, THIS IS ELLE releases her powerful new single, “OUR SOUND”,

now available on all major platforms.

The track emerged from a profoundly personal moment. One day, Elle

received a phone call from her former Dutch producer — a person with whom

she had shared meaningful creative work. Over the phone, he revealed he

was facing a severe form of leukemia.In response, Elle and Matt — her musical and life partner — poured their

hearts into a song. In less than 24 hours, Our Sound was written, recorded,

and sent to him.

The producer was so moved that he invited Elle to his funeral. Although

unable to attend, she honored his memory this year by traveling to the

Netherlands, where they had once worked together, to film part of the music

video, which will be released in September 2025.

“OUR SOUND” is an offering of compassion and connection

More than just a tribute, “Our Sound” is a song about universal love, radical
