Over 400 exhibitors from approximately 60 countries took part in the sixth edition of the event celebrating creativity, fine jewellery and outstanding craftsmanship.

Milan has once again confirmed its position as an international reference point for contemporary jewellery. The sixth edition of Milano Jewelry Week, organised by Prodes Italia, came to a close on October 26, after bringing the city to life from October 20 to 26 with a widespread programme of exhibitions, meetings and events dedicated to the world of jewellery. The results were impressive: over 22,000 visitors, a 10% increase compared to the previous edition, and more than 400 exhibitors from approximately 60 countries.

The event brings together two complementary dimensions: artistic value and creative research on one side, and the international market, savoir-faire and professional opportunities on the other. This vision is reflected in the two main exhibition venues.

At Palazzo Bovara, Artistar Jewels and Talent Show brought together more than 200 designers, artists and creatives, showcasing established names alongside emerging talents from international schools and academies. At Palazzo Serbelloni, The Jewelry Hub welcomed leading maisons and professionals from the worlds of fine jewellery, watchmaking and diamonds, with a particular focus on independent designers and innovative creations.

Completing the programme, the Experiential Journey transformed Milan's city centre into a route dedicated to jewellery culture, involving jewellery stores, concept stores, boutiques, ateliers and galleries. Among the new features of the 2026 edition were the launch of MJW Edicola, offering a selection of Italian and international publications, and the introduction of a new Press Jury. Talks and discussions also took place at Sotheby's Milan headquarters, including a meeting organised by A.N.T.I.C.O. addressing the new anti-money laundering challenges introduced by the European Union.

The event's international dimension was further enhanced by its collaboration with Blossom Brasil, the agency led by Bianca Zaramella, which for the third consecutive year brought a selection of Brazilian creatives to Milan. Nine independent brands and designers took part: Marcia Longman Jewelry, Thais Gio, Treeo, Canari, Cecília Ghilardi, Felipe Terra, Soltora, Sadhana Joias and Etternelle.

The highlight of the week was the Awarding Night, held on October 25 at the Auditorium di Milano and hosted by Lorenzo Dardano and Lucrezia Bernardo, voices of RTL 102.5. The awards recognised originality, research, innovation and craftsmanship across several categories, including the new MJW Editorial Choice Award. The jury included Chiara Pisa, CEO of Pisa 1940, Guido Solari, of Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana and SOA Lab & Factory, and Daniele Oldani, Vice President of AOL.

This year's edition also offered insights into the changing jewellery market. According to Auctentic, a private advisory house specialising in the valuation and brokerage of diamonds, jewellery and luxury watches, interest in vintage jewellery and antique-cut natural diamonds is growing. This trend is also confirmed by The RealReal's 2025 Resale Report, which recorded a 198% increase in online searches for vintage engagement rings compared to the previous year. Authenticity, provenance and uniqueness are therefore becoming increasingly important, particularly among younger generations.

According to Enzo Carbone, CEO of Prodes Italia, the event's continued growth is also driven by the strengthening of the Buyer Program and the launch of the Milano Jewelry Week Observatory, designed to collect data and explore industry trends through direct input from sector professionals.

Supported by the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and leading industry partners, Milano Jewelry Week confirms that it is much more than an exhibition: it is an international platform where goldsmithing tradition, artistic experimentation, culture and business come together, celebrating jewellery as a universal form of expression and communication.
